Finding clarity within oneself has much to do with asking oneself the appropriate questions, a practice known as self-inquiry. It is a subtractive process.
Clarity & Coherence
Our line of inquiry becomes coherent as we let go of obstacles in our mental/emotional field. When our line of inquiry is coherent, inner clarity is rather simple, even obvious—it’s the natural state of Being that remains when the obstacles fall away.
Return to the Pristine State
This retreat is an unconventional offering. It is a time to gently let go of obstacles and return to the natural state of clarity—Being. We will explore and simplify the practical application of self-inquiry, looking within to resolve mental patterns, inner conflict, stress, ego identification, childhood trauma, conditioning, etc.
Journey into Being
Through this journey—which, paradoxically, often occurs as both an immediate recognition and a gradual unfolding—one will actively participate in the re-framing and clarification of one’s own understanding of self, and thus, explore oneself in the deepest sense. Together we will journey into Being, page by page.
How will we do this?
This retreat is structured around the book Being, Not Me-ing, and is facilitated by the author, Michael Zeff. This short and simple book points readers to the ever-present state of Being by clarifying the obstacles which obscure it.
